Dh is in agreement to build a sun room! Ok, more of an attached, enclosed deck. But I'll have one.
Not this year, maybe next year. MIL was saying with having our "lake lot" there won't be any need, and I looked at her, and reminded her that I'm a SAHM with a childcare business. That this WOULD get used extensively as it extends the time we can go out and get fresh air. SOooo. I'm actually aiming to have windows in there instead of just mosquito netting, so it would be more of a sun room and extend the time even more. As light filtered through glass=heat! Even when it's below freezing outside, the IL's deck is often just like a brisk spring or fall day. Enough that the kids get out. And she has NO glass on hers. So we're aiming for a little time away. I'm thinking removeable glass panes, so that in late winter I can use it to double as....GREENHOUSE!..lol. That would be sweet. Big project for next spring(before the bugs come out). I'm hoping we can build a nextegg for that. As it would be awesome ;) It would also relieve the congestion of the back entrance, with is a narrow hall. The mucky boots can stay on trays on that deck.
But I'm most excited to have GROWING SPACE!
