I want a green house!

But I need to be frugal about it.

I have a few raised beds, and am wanting to start growing more variety of plants. However, I'm in a Zone 3.5 So long, hard winters, blistering summers..lol. Short though.

What do I need to know about green houses? Heating, etc. I've been googling and am only getting to sites that are offering to sell plans, little info as to what would be necessary.

I do have room in my yard for something about 8x12. Not big, but definitely big enough for my gardening space. I hope to expand that some yet as well.

I THINK a friend of mine bought a kit that was PVC pipe frame, when you put that together you just cover with plastic. This may be too primitive...maybe check with your local gardening shop...or depending on where you are, a Lowe's or Home Depot?? Good luck.
