Does anyone have a good recipe for sweet potato chips?
I sliced them thin and then soaked for a few hours in water & a bit of salt. I dehydrated overnight, but they came out crunchy, but also so bland and really unappetizing. No flavor at all.... i just tossed the whole batch.
any suggestions?

i use a modified version from the one in Alissas book.
soak in water & braggs(or)shoyu(or)soy sauce for about 10 minutes.
lay on the drater trays & sprinkle w/ nut yeast mixed with chili powder & garlic powder.
sprinkle HEAVILY.
dehydrate!
i don't have exacts but if needed LMK
I think it was 1/4 c. water & 1/4 c. braggs.
yummy dipped in guac or as nachos with the cheezy sauce, walnut taco meat & guac & salsa!
or plain!

I like to marinate in a olive oil/lime juice, chili powder, cayenne and some salt and pepper and braggs. The lime juice really makes it great. I ran out of lemons one day and had limes. What a difference!

here's a recipe, but I haven't tried it yet. slice the sweet potatoes thin and soak in water overnight then drain and dehydrate until crisp then put in a plastic bag with a tsp of olive oil, tsp of sea salt and shake up. You can also add more spices at that point if you want and shake up in a plastic bag.
