View Full Version : Chewing Wheat Grass
I have been sprouting wheat and love the sprouts and I have been considering growing some wheatgrass, but I don't really want to juice it.
Is it good to chew the grass and what is the best ways to do this?
Thanks

Hey there! You can chew it, but the grass is very hard on the digestive system. Why don't you want to juice it?

There's only one way to chew it ~ stick it in your mouth and do it!!! Then spit it out. We're not cows and don't have the ability to digest grass. Chewing it is good for the teeth and gums.

Yeah! I've done it lots since I don't have a wheat grass juicing machine. I just chew my cud and spit out the fiber. I think it's a superior method than just slamming back a shot of green juice 'cause this way it really combines the saliva enzymes with the juice particles. Something this good has to have a drawback though right. It turns your teeth green! Go for it. Start a new trend:)

I'd say don't chew your wheatgrass. It hurt like you know what. I will probably have it pulled
