Listen to your body and do what feels right. ;)

If you eat cooked food, you stop the detox...only to have to eventually go through it again at some point. If you don't find them awkward, enemas help with detox symptoms.

it depends on the detox, usually just gets lots of fluids (smoothies, water, melons, etc.) and as much rest as I can.

Well, early on I just welcomed the detox and trudged it out. I was not trying to be 100% raw then either however. Now if I detox, I stay raw using the crappy feelings as my motivation for not eating SAD.

Until you reach YOUR goal (50% raw...90% raw...99% raw...100% raw...whatever)......then just focusing on THAT goal is enough to promote detox and health. If one cannot hit one basic/small eating goals for a lifetime......then why focus on anything more complicated? There are not short-cuts...in THAT regard...in the small things.
-If one is comfortable eating healthy? Then yes: light fasting, exercise, mono-eating......these are all great detox methods.

I drink looooooooads of water!
I try to get some more oxygen (open the window, go for a walk)
I try to get some sunshine!!!
I take a bath in himalayan rock salt (THIS IS THE BEST THING I EVER TRIED!:) )
DON'T GO BACK TO COOCKED IF YOU DETOX! Than you stop the toxines getting out! To make it a bit softer eat nuts, avocado, greens...

This was very helpful
I love "stay raw using the detox symptons to move you forword"
I did eat nachos (last night) but that was still so different than my norm:
I was vegetarian but my diet when I really watched it was mainly carbs:
bagels, toast(bf), PB&J (lu), and Pasta/Pot Pie w/salad maybe(dinner)
I noticed many days when I didn't eat a single fruit or veggie :(
So I'm still detoxing and loosing weight because of the positive changes in my diet (bf & lu raw)
Thank you all

I totally agree, and I always love your comments David. You're very kind, loving and peaceful. For me resting is of utmost importance, as well as being more introverted. I take it day by day and go with the flow. It's whatever, because I'm still going to heal regardless, as long as I stay in alignment.

Hello there,
Rest, rest and more rest! :-) Let your body do the work it needs to do by letting it rest. Stay in bed and sleep as much as possible. Give your digestive system a rest by fasting or by eating very, very lightly--small amounts of juicy fruits for example. I believe it is best to get through it if at all possible rather than trying to stop it. As Rawkinlocs said, you'll only have to go through it later.
Remember, health is our natural birth right!! :-)
Blessings,
Audrey

AND i AGREE WITH PUNKSPIRIT!! :D
Absolutely for sure -- I STAY RAW and I drink more liquids.
It depends - sometimes I feel like I need to give my body a 'push' to help it get the toxins out - so I will go for a really intense hard walk. (i know that doesn't sound intense - but if you saw the hill that I walk  you'd realize ... it's VERY intense!)
Other times - I know my body just wants to curl up and rest. So - I do that. but either way - I definitely stay RAW.
listen to your body - ;)

I try to get as much rest as I can. Even if that means that I am just sitting in bed watching tv or reading or just laying there, I just rest. Lots of water too!

A saltbath (seasalt works as well) helps the body to get out toxines. I don't know EXACTLY how it works and its difficult for me to explain it in english.
But the high procentual level of salt in the water(body-temperature) makes it simily to the fluids in the body. The level is adjusted... Now the cells can give out and take in anything very easy. You know... the good things of the salt (NOT pue Natrium Chlorid!) get in an the body gan give out the dirt...
And yes: It even helps with headaches!
