Hey All,
I might do this as a veggie wrap eventually, but for right now, I am thinking PIZZA.
What do you think of this?
Cheddar Bacon Pizza
Herbed Crust
Rich Cheddar Cheeze Sauce
Toppings:
Pulsed (in food processor) - Bacon Strips, marinaded red onions, pepper, green onion, mushroom; heavy on the bacon of course)
<no tomatoes or tomato sauce, although I could see a mesquite/bbq sauce, if any, on this>
What do we think?
I think it sounds quite good. Especially since I'll throw a bit of the bacon marinade, just a touch, in with the red onions, as well as in the food processor.
I'm fasting, so I need to know if this sounds like a pregnant woman's fantasy or the real deal (LOL!)
Sounds DELISH. Make mine a large and please hold the shrooms... me no likey shrooms.

Awesome. Think I'll offer it for $13.50.
Do you not even like marinated portabellas, not that that is what I'll be using...

I'll take 2 please! And LOAD up the shrooms! I'll have Ama's!
Nope, tried marinating them a few times. I just don't like them. I ended up throwing the last batch out because they are just so icky to me and they have a funny smell... a mushroomy smell. I threw out a whole batch of shroom burgers too! I figured that once I went raw my tastes would have changed but I guess they haven't changed THAT much!
That pizza sounds SO YUMMY!

I have pretty much posted the recipe.
The bacon is on this board (the one with liquid smoke)
The crust is the herbed crust, but any can do (it's in my pizza thread, the ingredients but no measurements - I don't know them myself)
The cheddar cheeze spread is from this board...
And the rest is just marinaded or chopped veggies!
mesquite bbq....YUMMMMMM!!!

Arghhhh!
I will experiment with the bbq when done fasting. Very hard to do so when I can't eat. I'm confident with the pizza as I've made all the items, you know?
But yeah, otherwise, that would be good!!!!!
I think all these would be awesome calzone fillings, too.

I'm actually excited because this pizza will be so PRETTY.
I think the orange of the cheddar cheese is gorgeous and inviting.
I look forward to taking a picture of it!

I will work on that after I do the basic one. That is the direction it is headed, for sure. I am just fasting so I cannot taste test a thing. I'll therefore have to stick with sure things, tried and true. I'M EXCITED THOUGH! Thanks, Petals. 1 week from today, I'll post a pic. :-)

I did it. And I cannot wait to try it one day - lol! It smells bacony, and the cheddar cheeze spread is just heavenly. I just know this pizza is the bomb. I sold 5 at $13.75 each, and will surely sell even more next time with the picture now and other's reviews....
