An interesting tidbit - I asked Raw From the Farm if they knew if in-shell almonds would be treated as well. Drake checked with the Almond Board and said they confirmed that the in-shell almonds won't be affected at this time.

Companies that previously used no heat to dry or shell almonds now are forced to use it starting 9/1. I can't believe we won't have the choice to have completely raw almonds. :mad:

Like many others I use them a lot so I'm pretty upset about this. I wonder if we will be able to order them from international sources perhaps? Any ideas out there?

Why??? That sounds ridiculous. I suppose I better go start researching, because my curiosity is definitely peaked now. I love almonds :(
