QUESTION............
I'd like to do a liver cleanse during a fast. Is this too risky?
It says to eat and drink as normal during the cleanse, but since Im not eating solids or having fiber intake this concerns me.

Hi tweety, there is a thread from FG (about a total cleanse out) where we are now discussing the time-steps for a total cleanse.

Hi Tweety - It's called "Has Anyone Ever Experienced A Total Cleanout?"
And the question might apply to anyone in history, not just those on RFT, because it is apparently a rare thing.
Right off, on your question, fasting releases torrential toxins into the bloodstream; and so, the question then is, how much can we withstand at once? Also, I assume you mean in conjunction with juice fasting or the MC. (?) With water fasting I wouldn't recommend it for the average person.
The liver is AWESOME. It is said to have OVER 500 FUNCTIONS. I always emphasize caution and to listen to your body. And as always, other factors like age, eating & meds history, environment should be part of the consideration. If all seems safe, you might wanna be bold and experiment a little.
Personally, I prefer specific, deep cleanses before a fast. Hope that helps.
Have a beautiful day!
