My hubby is concerned that he may be lossing weight too fast. He has lost 16lbs in a week. I said stop complaining or I'm going to slap you...LOL...I only lost 3lbs. So is it possible to lose too fast?
As long as he is eating enough he should be fine. A lot of that weight is most likely water weight. Is this his first week raw? I highly doubt that will keep up. I've read that a normal fat loss rate is about 2-3 pound of FAT a week. As I said, he probably didn't lose 16 pounds of fat. It was most likely either water weight or TMI -- if he's been going #2 a lot he may have had a lot of... ya know... stuff backed up in there.

Men will do that. A lot of it was bloat, surely. It shouldn't continue. If it does, call me and read to me exactly what he is putting into his mouth, verbatim, so I can take notes. lol! Guys lose more rapidly, their fat is like mobile and ours is immobile, or something like that.
My theory... and this is just that LOL... is that men don't normally diet like women do. Women yo-yo usually from a young adult sometimes throughout most of their life. Their system gets all screwy. That's why "I believe" that when men do change their eating habits they lose faster than women. Same of course (according to my theory) would be true for anyone (man or woman) who didn't diet much or abuse their system. Women are just known for this MORE than men; weight watchers, slim fast, diet pills, eating disorders etc etc....
