Hello everyone, how are you all doing?

Well I feel I am being called to do a fast. I have tried once before and manged to do 3 days but life obligations got in the way so I stopped. There are more than a few reasons I feel I am being called back to fasting. I feel now that I am in a place where I can relax and let myself go through this.

One of the main reasons I want to fast is to avoid surgery. On both my feet I have a cyst(I think thats what it was called) forming. You can actually see them popping out of my feet and they keep getting bigger slowly. The doctors of course say surgery... but I mean that would be terrible, even tho they say it's simple I'd still not be able to really walk for a few weeks and what if for some reason it turned into something that causes me a lot of pain? I like to dance and be active so I am thinking maybe if I am lucky fasting could be a soloution. If it can heal cancer maybe it could heal these odd growths on my feet.

Has anyone ever heard of anyone healing themselves from something like this? I am guessing it may have to be a long fast for it to really work? Also what are some important ways to prepair oneself for a long fast?

Thanks everyone I need all the support I can get, I just really want to heal myself without surgery.

Mandy,
I am dealing with similar issues but not to the point of surgery talk.
I have plantar faciitis of the feet and bad pain and inflammation of the tendon on the arch of my feet. Mostly my left side... and I am dealing with muscle spasms and injury from a car accident a year ago.

Acupuncutre has been helping the pain in my feet and back. It hurts bad when the needles go in but afterwards you do find relaxation and the pain stops. Its worth that short amount of pain.

Also, start drinking Raw/Unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar in water with your fast. I've been doing this on mine and i think its helping. Its been said to help smooth out muscles and clear away the grit in them that cause tension??

I too am a dancer so I know EXACTLY what youre going through. I havent been able to wear heels for a year now :( boo hoo
but if it means i'll heal.. then absolutely.

Salt baths, Massage like no tomorrow and definitely a fast may help. Learn to massage your feet and request for physical therapy before surgery. I have been getting PT on my feet and it is helping. It feels like I have cysts in my feet but the PT says it is calcium buildup and other tension and junk.
Stretch your feet and twist them sideways with your hands w/ lots of manual dexterity.

Also try getting in the sauna to sweat out toxins and go to a sporting store for a "Foot Rubz" ball to roll on your feet on the arch.
If you have the same issue as me, you will have to go through more pain before you find relief. You have to get aggressive im learning when it comes to pain in the feet. its really horrible.
