what do you guys think are the best raw foods to eat everyday and the worst raw foods to eat everyday?
also what are the most beautifying foods to eat? i'm having trouble with acne and im so close to going back on Accutane, i dont want to but it really gets the job done.

I think the best raw foods to eat would be coconut oil, greens, and juicy fruits.
worst would be the pre-packaged raw food bars, like Larabar, even though i eat them all the time! i just had a cherry pie one! yum.

one more question, how long has everyone been raw and what have you noticed that has changed since eating raw?

You're pretty much right on! Just make sure to get a variety, and you'll thrive.

Hey babyphat!! I have been 100% raw for about 15 months, and am currently high raw.

I think your question is variable depending on the person... the first three months I was raw, Lara bars were the best food I could be eating! They helped me stay full and stay raw through some very tough situations. A year later though, they don't quite hit the spot and they make me feel bloated.

The best foods for my body these days are... greens, green juice, berries, coconut oil, spirulina, avocado. The worse would be most nuts & cacao - the arginine in them is aggravating to me.

Do you have the book Eating for Beauty? There are so many wonderful raw foods that have specific beautifying properties. They are usually foods high in silicon. Off the top of my head some beautifying foods are avocado, papaya, radishes, coconut oil, berries, cucumbers, hot peppers...

So you mentioned you're having issues with acne. How long have you been raw? Are you interested in healing your skin with natural ways? Perhaps search for some skin threads on this site. I remember reading that Alba, one of the users here, has had awesome success healing her skin with raw foods.

Hope this helped!

Hi sunshine!
oh trust me i know! larabars were the best thing for me at first too...i still eat them and probably wont stop..there so yummy. but its not something i want to have everyday.
i do actually have the eating for beauty book. ive read alot of good info. in that book but just wanted to see from other peoples perspective of what they thought helped them.
ive been off and on raw since december 2006 and i was 100% raw for about a whole month and i felt me best and looked my best. i just started eating 100% raw again since last saturday and already feel better but somewhat tired.
