I work at a Mediterranean restraunt..and I looooove our Tabbulah *sp..but I'm not sure if a certain ingrediant in it is raw..is Bulgar wheat raw?...I do hope so..thanx for the help:)

Since the wheat is soaked in boiling water, I'd say not raw.

I use processed/minced cauliflower as either a tabouli, couscous, or rice type of base. Play around with it and see how it works for you.

Oh yeah, the cauliflower works great! Food processed it becomes couscous!

i am sorry to have to tell you that bulgar wheat is not raw. It is processed and cooked before it is sold. But there are other alternatives like the cauliflower or soaked and sprouted wheat grains.

Raw hemp seed makes a really delicious Mediterranean tabouli dish also.
