Howdy All...
I just want to say this... From my own experience, I know they tell ya not to stress in the beginning. But I have to say, IT'S OKAY IF YOU DO. It's human behavior when you are trying something new, to want to do it correctly ( some are way worse than others at trying to obtain this) It's okay if you stress in the beginning. I feel you not trying to stress adds more stress to the game. When I first started I kept hearing TRUST YOUR BODY, YOUR BODY WILL TELL YOU, As tree's and butterflies would cascade through the wind... lol. But at the beginning my body and I have been cut off for a very long time, due greatly to all the dead I fed it, so me -- all of a sudden trying to listen to my "body" was a very new concept.

Alas in the beginning I 2 stressed out. Not hair pulling, or jumping up and down screaming and cussing out incompetent Whole Food employees who didn't know what ALMOND BUTTER was, or where for that matter.

So just saying, you will stress, worry about temps, is this raw, this isn't, but it's alive, etc etc... It's all part of the learning process. DON'T BE ASHAMED. OR JUDGE YOURSELF HARSHLY IF YOU DO. Soon everything will become second nature, and you will become calm, and alas will begin understanding the whole listening to the body, and watch how it balances itself. Have faith! keep going! You can!

Ohhh yessss!! ;) Well stated! I do remember panicking a time or two - like when I first tried to make flax seed crackers and they became slimy when I soaked them  ! I immediately stopped everything and sent in an SOS post -- IS THIS NORMAL - HELP!!

I'm sure the more experienced smiled when they replied to my frantic calls!
Relax into it - one day at a time - and actually I still consider myself new to all of this - I'm on day 34 - 100% raw! RAW RAWKS! :D

TO all Newbies -- never be embarressed to ask any question on RFT! They've heard it all!! :D
