Just a cute story...My husband a meat- potato-corn eating guy has really amazed me...Not only has he begun to eat raw..he is encouraging it as a lifestyle for our family...Last night he said....we can by raw nuts in place of going out to eat....let me translate.....out to eat means burgers and fries:eek: He is in school and I am home with our son...so a burger at his favorite shop was his treat..Sometimes action really do speak so much more than words.....
:D
God is so faithful to me...with His empowerment I can do all things........

What a good man you have for a husband!
He must love you oh-so-very-much to sacrifice his weekly splurge for something he knows will make you happy. (I'd venture to guess that your happiness makes HIM happy- what a sweetheart!)

My mother used to buy literal slabs of ham and cheese for my stepfather, who also drank 12 cups of coffee a day and smoked.
Though my mom has slacked to a 50/50 raw and cooked diet, my stepfather, who went raw when we did, has remained 100%. How's that for shocking? :D

Since my meat and potatoes (or I should say meat and white rice!) kinda guy went raw on April 1st he has done better than I have! And he is going strong for the month of May also.
Who would have thought?? I guess leading by example (high raw or 100% from me for over 3 years) has helped. He is at about 18 pounds of weight loss now too so he is very excited.
Actions sure do speak louder than words, keep up the great work for both of you!

Awww. Congrats! That's so sweet. My husband is the same - meat and potatoes allllllll the way. He's a BIG guy - 6'8, 270. But y'know what? A month into raw for me, he did a month of raw! AND he went to a raw potluck with me. And a raw restaurant. And still eats raw with me occasionally.
Keep it up! You've got a great supporter there. =)
