My Vitamix container is peeling!

I just noticed that the lower sides of the vitamix is peeling. I just got it 1.5 year ago. Would it be dangerous to use it?

The sides of my plastic container is peeling. My roommate thinks it's food that got stuck, but I think it's the plastic.

WOW! Either way, I'd contact the company and let them know. It's not that old! Or is it an older model that YOU got 1.5 years ago?

Like Lucy said, contact vitamix. They should replace it for free being that they have a 10 year warranty (I think it's 10?)

My friend bought one at a GARAGE SALE and they still replaced everything. SCORE! THE JEALOUSY IN MY HEART WILL NEVER CEASE! LOL. Kidding.

Earlier we put the plasticcontainer of our "food-processor" (I don't know the word for this machine...but you can use it for making cake, salads... dunno... for lots of things) into the dishwasher and the dish-washing-powder desroyed the surface...
