This sounds crazy, but my Vita Mix. When I go down my daughter's to stay for a bit I take it and can whip up a green smoothie in seconds.
Other foods are:
Any raw fruits (they are already pre-packaged - ready to go)
RP's brownies
any of the cracker recipes floating around
raw cookies
nuts

I have been thinking about this lately, since I am going to be travelling this summer and also moving ...
I will be driving so I can pack a cooler...
dried things like raisins, prunes, dates and nuts
crackers, dried spiced nuts,pre-made dressing
bananas, avos, some salad things, yumm... olives, pine nuts, (if driving, you can pack a cooler)
a knife, spoon, whatever equipment you will be able to use, like a blender maybe...
some containers and baggies, etc., for storing, jar for smoothie,
sea salt, olive oil, cacao, spices, honey or whatever sweetener you use
plates,bowls,mugs or glasses,
water
if flying, then crackers, dried nuts and fruits, some sturdy fresh fruits, (I hate when bananas get mushed in my bag LOL..quite a mess!!!) maybe some olives to make salads more substantial, small containers of dressing or olive oil?? ac vinegar or just hope to get lemon and olive oil at the restaurants..
I hope this helps. :D Happy Trails!!!

Pumpkin seed bars. They make the perfect meal if I can't find anything else. I also carry an old lunch box in the back of the van complete with a small knife, napkins and little plates. If we run across a farmer's market somewhere, all we need is some bottle water to wash the stuff.
