Do sesame seeds need to be ground up like flax seeds for my body to properly absorb the nutrients? Or can I just eat them whole?

I use the unhulled ones to make mylk. I believe if they are ground up the calcium is absorbed better.
I make almond sesame milk that i learned from a " Sexy Bi***** like it raw" episode on you tube. It's really super good.

I always use the unhulled ones because I read from a few different sources that the hulled ones are heat-treated.
I grind them in the Vitamix to make a tahini-pate with lemon or lime juice and whatever herbs we have in the garden. If you don't grind them, make sure you chew them really well!

I blend them with raisins & raisin soak water (and water). Sooo good!
