View Full Version : Upset stomach - what should I eat?

My stomach is very upset and unsettled. Normally I would eat crackers, but I now I don't know what to eat. Should I even eat at all? I am at work and have no access to flax crackers or anything...but I suspect I am sick from eating too many of them a couple days ago anyway. I feel like something is fermenting in my stomach (I keep burping and it tastes like rotten eggs). Thanks!

Drink water if you are at work and don't have access to anything else. At least it will help flush whatever it is out...

Ooo I wish I'd thought about grabbing some ginger before I left! I guess I'll stick to water until I feel better. Drat. I so enjoy eating. But I would enjoy having a more settled stomach too. Thanks! Do you think bananas are ok when I feel a little better? They're pretty bland.

You could try some peppermint tea...I find that always helps me, or ginger tea...either/or.

Don't know how you feel about tea, but Chamomile tea is very good for an upset stomach
I had the flu a while ago and I couldn't even look at a banana, but if it sounds appealing later, than try a little first

I found some chamomile tea. My co-workers always go to Starbucks so I am going to have them bring me back some peppermint tea...that sounds good. I wish I could just go back to sleep, but I missed 2 days of work last week with the flu (not the stomach kind).
