Hello everyone!

I know vitamin D can be produced by the sun, but what about those people that live in cloudy areas? I live in Portland, Oregon where it is mostly gray skies because it rains a lot here (which i absolutely love, don't get me wrong). Do we technically still convert vitamin D or does it have to be on a sunshiny day? Thanks for the input!!

Hi, I live about 2 hours north of you, in Yelm Washington, and it can be very grey many days of the year, but you will be surprised at how sunny and hot it can get in the summer.

But as far as Vitamin D, just to let you know, you will get it in the sun, even if the sun is not out, just like you can get a tan or a sunburn even in the clouds.
