I munch and snack on my raw foods all day long. I'll rarely go 2 hours without eating something small. Should I be eating larger portions less often to give my digestive system a break? What do you think?

I was eating 7 raw meals a day...at
7am
9am
11am
1pm
3pm
5pm
7pm
It was awful. My digestion was SO BAD.
Now I am eating intuitively. So there are no rules. I think you have to tune into what your body is telling you. Some days you may eat larger amounts less often. Sometimes lots of little meals. Maybe some days only a couple of light meals. Maybe another day a couple of big meals and lots of little meals. I don't think there is anything intrinsically wrong with eating frequently, as long as that is what your body is guiding you to do on that particular day. If you are eating that way as some kind of intellectually imposed discipline, then you may experience digestive problems, as there are times when it's optimal not to eat at all.

For me personally, I just eat every four hours or so with a mid afternoon snack between lunch and supper (only because lunch for me is 10.30 and supper isn't until 7, and I just can't go that long without eating.) You just need to go with what is right. Listen to your body. If you are really hungry, eat a meal, if you are kind of hungry eat a small snack like some nuts or something. Whatever you do, just follow what your body is telling you.

My stomach empties faster after a raw meal, so I eat more often. I bring a salad and some fruit to work and eat continually.
