I should say *mostly* raw, because I'm not 100% (and I don't plan to even try to be for a while). I was thinking about joining the May challenge, but I decided it wouldn't be wise. I don't do well when I feel I *can't* have something. It goes much better when I don't *want* something. All a mind game, I know, but I have to balance it just right in order to make this lifestyle a success for me. So regular salad dressing from time to time (because I haven't mastered the skill of making my own - that tastes good), a little bit of soy milk in a spirulina shake once in a while, and a few store-bought granola bars. That's really about it as far as *straying*. I don't think that's too bad, right? :-D
I am feeling GREAT! I've suffered from headaches for a couple of years (even on a vegan diet for over 7 years). After day 2-3 of *mostly* raw, they are completely GONE! It's unbelievable!! Even after yesterday - I got some really bad news that left me entirely stressed out, and in a total uncontrollable crying fit. A scene that normally would have left me with a throbbing headache that would have kept me in bed the rest of the day, but instead .... nothing! Not even an inkling of a headache - A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.!!!! Not to mention, I'm not nearly as tired as I used to be - LOTS more energy, and some unwanted weight is falling off. *two thumbs up* lol
I wanted to thank all of you!!! This site has really helped to keep me focused. I really don't think I would have made it past the first couple of days without this place.
