I NEVER watch, but just happened to catch a couple of minutes of Montel today. He had mothers on the show. One was talking about organic foods....one stood behind her busy schedule, fast food was ok (sometime) and everyone had an opinion about everything from breastfeeding to bottle feeding, spanking vs. not spanking, etc.
During the short segment of the "organic" mom....before they went on to the next segment, Montel commented that he had given "raw" a try for himself to see if it helped him (He suffers from MS) and he said food (raw food) did make a difference, that what you eat DOES make a difference...and he was writing a book now about it.:D I thought that was cool, and will be looking for his book.

I love Montel, he is a sincerely compassionate person. I usually watch him when Sylvia Brown is on.

That is great he is trying Raw Foods. Wow, wouldn't that be great if he did a show on his experience?

Yes, I agree, he seems to be a sincere person....and healthy despite his disease!

THE CURE" BOOK: (Inside Jacket Cover) http://www.brantleycure.com/images/smallTimBrantleyBook.gif

In this remarkable book, Dr. Timothy Brantley writes that most health problems are not caused by genetics or germs but by the standard American diet. Rather than eat foods the way they were created, we pollute our bodies with refined, packaged products. When we feel ill, we take drugs to temporarily mask the symptoms. Now Dr. Brantley wants to change how you view, manage and how you can revitalize your health. Drawing on Brantley's groundbreaking research and his years of working with nutritional healing, The Cure contains a revolutionary program that can flush toxins out of the body, restore balance, promote natural healing, and increase vitality. Dr. Brantley's program has already helped many seriously ill patients, including several well-known celebrities.
After his mother, father, and young cousin died tragic deaths at early ages from terminal illnesses, Timothy Brantley embarked on a quest for answers to the mystery of why they died so young. Dr. Brantley has dedicated his life to understanding the role our diets and lifestyles play in our health. The Cure lays out Brantley's findings about why sickness happens, shows how disease can be reversed, and most importantly, explains how to prevent ill health in the first place. In The Cure, Dr. Brantley shares his revolutionary step-by-step program, which features a diet of raw or lightly cooked organic foods as well as exercise, rest, fasts, water, whole food supplements, and herbal formulas. Sharing life-affirming case stories of people who diligently followed Dr. Brantley's program, you'll discover how:

Carlos lost forty pounds and no longer suffered from debilitating headaches
Todd, who suffered from lifelong asthma, was able to throw away his inhalers
Sonya beat cervical cancer within four months
Howie, president of a large record company, overcame prostate cancerYour body wants to heal. Enjoy the optimal health you were born to enjoy. Read The Cure and find out how.

HAH! Well, we don't have t.v. either yet, Oprah issss good exposure. Actually ANY t.v. seems to be. I know people making mega-millions (well, one person, actually) with an infomercial. I'm sure my books would go over the top yet, at this time, it seems the universe is taking me slow and easy where I want to go so I don't break through any upper limits too quickly. :D

When he was on Rachael Ray's new show a few months ago he made his Green Smoothie recipe. Here is the recipe (from Rachael's website) if anyone is interested. I will sure enjoy reading a book he writes on raw food and will be waiting with everyone else to see what surprise Revvell is talking about!!

Montel & Mike's Sweet Green Smoothie
2 ripe organic bananas, peeled
1 large organic orange, peeled leaving pith and seeds intact
1 organic mango, skinned
1 tablespoon Light Agave Nectar
2 heads of dark green organic romaine lettuce, washed
purified water
pinch of Celtic Sea Salt

Preparation
In the Vitamix container add bananas, orange, and mango. Add 1 tablespoon of agave nectar. Then, using approximately 2 full heads of washed dark green Romaine lettuce, stuff and pack lettuce leaves on top of the fruit until they reach the MAX FILL line on the container. Then, fill the container with purified water to the MAX FILL line. Add a pinch of Celtic Sea Salt.

Cover and blend for 20 seconds until smooth. Serve immediately. Smoothie keeps for a few days in the refrigerator.
Yields 1 quart per day

Funny you mention it. We're working on a YouTube vid. Just waiting until we stay home long enough to put it together. Headed down to San Deigo today to promote Treadwell Technologies; then Thursday we're going to Las Vegas to the premiere of "Pass It On Today"; then back to SD for more promotion and to go to the seminar.

I think we might actually be home for awhile after that. :p

I got the book, The Cure, that Montel featured.

to me, it lacks substance. There were testimonials, some technical, but when it came down to the program, there was limited recipes given. It directed you to www.brantleycure.com for more recipes, and I've yet to find them. The info was all technical, as to why things need to happen, etc. But actual practical info, was limited. Which led me to search more, and here I am. There is more info on this forum, than in the book, truly. HE's a good advocate, he'll generate interest, but it ends there. There's just not enough to get the commitment from the readers.

He speaks about different detoxes and cleanses, saying to check his site for good sources. The only thing on his site is 3 formulas, out of several mentioned, and no references. He doesn't ship outside of the USA, again another source of frustration for me..lol
