How do you ground sunflower seeds or flax seeds if you don't have the containor for the vitamix that does flour and bread? I don't have a coffee grinder either. Any suggestions? I want to make some recipes in my dehydrator that I just got but I saw that a lot of them call for ground seeds and I'm clueless. THANKS AGAIN!

I would get a coffee bean grinder. They're reasonably priced. I use mine to grind flax, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, cacao, chia seeds, cashews, fresh spices. Pretty much anything.

I have the Vitamix 4500 that does not have the "dry" container and I'm still able to grind things in it. Just don't put too much at once - only like 1/4 c. at a time. I used to use a coffee grinder until I ruined it by trying to grind coarse celtic sea salt in it (before I knew that salt would rust it) - now I exclusively use my Vitamix (regular container) as I have not went out to purchase another coffee grinder.

Magic Bullet, Tribest, or just a mini processor. The only way to go.
