I've read a couple of books lately about the benefits of rejuvelac. Do any of you make/use it? What's the good news about it? Any bad news? is it worth the trouble?

Don't know about the benefits, but my batch was truly nasty. Now I like "weird" stuff... I love kombucha where many can't stand it. I figured I'd be okay with rejuvelac, but tried straight, it was so vile.
I used rye berries for mine, which a lot of people said worked better. Had I actually used rejuvelac in a recipe or smoothie... I dunno... it might have been okay.
It doesn't take all that much work to make some, so I say give it a whirl and see for yourself, but start with a smaller batch, perhaps, just incase.

It is Sooo Simple to Make and you can use it in other things. You can use it as a Base for Fizzy drinks. I like to put water on the Berries 2 times. I use the Winter Wheat Berries. I pour the Water off the Berries into a seperate container and drink from it. If you can drink and NOT take a breath, you won't taste it, if that is your problem...........

Rejuvelac has been tested and too much iffy stuff grows in it. Good AND bad cultures grow.
