I was just talking with a good friend who is going to be going in for MS testing this week. Does anyone know, or have any experience, with MS and the raw diet? Could going raw help "cure" this?

Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks everyone!!

Sorry ... "cure" wasn't quite the right word that I was looking for in that first post. I drew a blank when I was typing that. :( I guess what I was trying to ask was whether or not raw food could help alleviate the symptoms (or even the cause???).

Thanks, and sorry for any confusion that first post may have caused ...

according to my neurologist... rawfoods is the way to go. He prescribed it for me when I saw him. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and went through testing for MS. They did find a highlighted area in my brain but not enough for him to make a conclusive diagnosis.

Anyway... I have read many testimonials where rawfoods has helped people with ms. I don't remember the websites at this moment.. try hacres.com and do a search for multiple sclerosis. It has workeed for many there also.

Thanks so much, Veggiemom2!! I'll check it out! (Then I'll just have to see if my friend is willing to listen ...)

Thanks again! :)

I had this bookmarked, but had to try and find it (have a LOT of bookmarked sites!)

Apparently, he has written a book about his experience and has lectures on tape. Here is the link to an article he wrote and had published in a magazine:
