I want to make the Spinach Indian Dip in Alissa's book but my local store didn't have Herbamare. Any suggestions for a substitute?
Thanks so much!

HI.. I think herbamare is a salt substitute type seasoning.. If there is not other salt in the recipe, I would just add sea salt to taste...
Good Luck!!! I love that dip!:)

Thanks for the reply... When I got to the Whole Foods Market or PCC I'm will pick some Herbamare up.
I will try to make the dip without it and use some sea salt as you suggested...
Have a great day!

I made mine without herbamare and it turned out yummy. I used curry powder or garam masala, i forget which.. and sea salt , avo and spinach.. I forget what else. :p It was from Alissa's book, I just improvised to use what i had on hand..
I am sure it will be fabulous.. Enjoy!!:)

I always noticed that ingredient and didn't know what it was.
Then I finally tried it --- it is not hard to find, just a foreign "name".
OMG, IT IS ADDICTIVE, and sooo healthy! :-)
