I need your help... a guy I know asked me if I know websites of raw food people over 50, because he would like to show the websites to his parents and show them how you can be healthy when you get older.
I could only think about Storm Talifero.
Do you know other raw people of that age?
Thank you so much!

The fruitarian guy. I forgot his exact screen name. As I've been lurking I've seen him post videos of him working out on playgrounds, etc. I believe he just posted on with phot shoot pictures?

I'm 53. Show him my thread entitled, "I'm off my thyroid meds!"
Raw has healed me of migraines that I've had my whole life. I don't ever remember NOT having them. And a thyroid diagnosed 6 years ago as non-functioning; it was probably non-functioning long before the diagnosis.

After 50 and eating all raw, one becomes ageless. Doesn't that count in raw food land?:p

I know this man is over 50 now (http://www.charliesgym.info/default.php), though he hasn't updated his site.
There is also a female bodybuilder champion over 50...British, I think; Here she is, Pat Reeves (http://www.foodalive.org/treatments/aboutpat.htm) . Here is something she wrote (http://www.positivehealth.com/permit/Articles/Case%20Studies/reeves68.htm)[/URL]. [U]and here (http://www.positivehealth.com/permit/Articles/Case%20Studies/reeves68.htm)
What about Victoria Boutenko? Is she over 50?
Tanya Zavasta? Not sure.

There have been many over 50's on this site. Me too! I think that there are so many that visit here and then go on with their lives - do not have this addiction to the site that I have.

Roe Gallo is 57 and is an amazing testimony to the raw food lifestyle. Here is her website:

She has a number of books including Perfect Body - The Raw Truth. I really enjoyed reading it. She overcame serious illness through raw foods and looks fabulous and apparently feels great!

My mom is over 50 and healed from skin cancer by eating raw. She kept getting them cut out but they kept popping up. She decided after the third time to just let them be & eat raw. We watched as they shrunk away right before our eyes. She dosn't have any new ones now in 3 years. She is not even 100% raw 100% of the time. But she likes to be because she feels so good.

Karyn Calabrese, just turned 60...has the body of a swimsuit model. When she talks she sounds like a very spunky South Side Italian girl in her 20's...attitude, vigor, enthusiasm...the woman takes care of business. "Spunky" does not begin to describe her barely containable energy.

My mom is 59. She healed a pancreatic cyst in about 5 months on the living food diet, and lost 20 lbs. She weighs less than she did in highschool now and looks fantastic. She eats maybe 80% raw.
