I have a pancake recipe that I use on the weekends that I would like to convert to raw and use my dehydrator. Was hoping people could give me some suggestions on substitutions for the non-raw ingredients. Here is the recipe as it stands now.

1 Cup - Bob's Red Mill Buttermilk pancake & waffle mix
1 Cup - Bob's Red Mill Flaxsee meal
1 Egg
1 Tbsp - Oil (I use Extra Light Tasting Olive Oil)
3/4 Cup - Filtered Water ( just recently substituted homemade Almond milk )
Ground Cinnamon to taste
3 medium or 2 large Golden Delicious Apples

The apples I chop up in one of those hand crank food processors. Then I mix in the other ingredients and make like regular pancakes. They come out very moist and taste very good. Now that I am working on going raw I would like to be able to still enjoy these pancakes but in their more raw friendly form. Would love any suggestions.

Thanks,

Andy

Hmmm well I would use
nuts/sprouted grains for the mix,
Flaxseeds for the egg as it binds pretty well,
Olive Oil as usual (though maybe coconut would taste better.)
Leave the water
And leave the apples as usual....I'd make that, then dehydrate that in circles in the dehydrator :)
