okay.
about 3 weeks ago i ate a massive bowl of fruit, at least 3 or 4 stomach fulls, and ever since the next morning my bowels have not been working properly. i kept telling myself everything would work itself out, but it hasnt. stuff just keeps building up and not coming out right. this morning, i drank like 4 big glasses of water (from a big cup, about 16 ounces). i wasnt hungry, but i drank a glass of veggy juice (carrots, cuke, parsley, kale, beet). i worked out for a couple of hours, went in the steam room, and came home. now it is 430, and i have drank 2 or 3 gallons of water, and i have only urinated like 4 or 5 times, and im not hungry. im goin through some serious detox, it feels like, and i havent eaten or drank anything except water and that morning juice.

what is going on? i have never heard of this so it has me slightly worried. i know my body will work this out, it is just really weird and i am hoping that someone has experienced this so i get an idea of what is happeniing.

thanks

Give yourself a few enemas and stop drowning your kidneys. 2 or 3 GALLONS of water?

You shouldn't consume more than 8 glasses of water unless your athletic or doing heavy duty yard work. lol. Even then I heard 6 glasses is ENOUGH
Then you have all those juices and stuff you take in which is a liquid.. but remember you shouldn't be out putting as much liquids as intake or you can become dehydrated but its normal to pee lots when you drink lots. Your body will adjust. And also, you should have a bowel movement every time you eat ( healthy speaking) and if you dont try some tea because its a stimulant ;)

For what it is worth - over the years I have learned that when I am out in AZ summer weather - used to work the swap meet among other things - once I start urinating - that means my body is no longer coping with the heat well. This is just from years of observation. If I am doing well in the heat I can drink alot and never need to urinate. I do not know why - I just know that it is. You are also in a hot place and mentioned the steam room. Bowels I don't know about except that those of us who are able to get alot of imported produce can also get imported parasites.

I agree with Revvell.
Also, what other factors are playing in here? Are you 100% raw? Are you consuming green smoothies?
What's up with massive amounts of stuff, like your bowl of fruit - 3-4 stomach fulls? Why?
I think you need some moderation going on in your life.
Do the enema - slow down on the massive consumption of water and foods.

I get so hungry on raw sometimes that I can see doing the 3-4 bowls of fruit. I have an older body that needs less. A younger body with high metabolism and working out needs more. I have seen what people eat on here and for some it is a phenomenally huge amount and for others it is so miniscule. Perhaps the body is screaming for denser food like flax crackers?

WAAAy too much water, you're throwing off your sodium balance. Try an enema, or if you don't have a kit do a salt water flush.

Relax and let go :)

gracias... the enemas helped, and i did some yesterday too. the huge bowl of fruit was after a family cookout and i had watched everybody eat burgers and fondue, and it just drove me to the face stuffing.

as far as raw is concerned, i have been 100 % for 2 months. i have lost all the weight i am going to lose, and i am extremely active. i have green smoothies, salad, usually a morning juice, and a fat in the middle of the day. i wait until i am hungry to eat, except for lately at night when i have been getting cravings to snack (i think this is jus a habit).

i drank so much water because i thought that my bowels were extremely dry or that i wasnt getting hydrated (which i dont think i was cuz i was thirsty all day)

this has been weird, but thankfully i am starting to feel better.
thanks for all the help
