"I make this most mornings, I love it!! My mother always told me to eat my spinach, but I'd rather drink it! Mmmm! Mom refuses to try this, so I just look at her and say "eat your spinach! It's good for you!" hehe
Ingredients:
Juice from 5 larger oranges, or 7 smaller ones
Juice from 1 medium-large lemon
Baby spinach -- I usually use prepackaged organic spinach, and I normally squeeze the whole bag into the blender and let her rip. If you buy spinach by the bunch/bulk, I think it would be about 3 large handfulls.
Blend together and strain. I also scoop off the foam that sits on top.
This drink is sooo refreshing! You'll feel like a million bucks after drinking it! The lemon gives the sweet OJ a nice tang and adds a sort of "freshness" taste. If you want it to taste even more "fresh", add some parsley! Mmmm! "

I agree about parsley. I miss it in my smoothies if it is NOT in there. And it is SUCH a superfood!

To get rid of the foam you can also blend in a (small) piece of avocado.

I have been drinking orange juice with romaine lettuce juiced, then I add a banana and a little ice. Very Yummy! I would like to try spinish, but I can't find any organic. I am still a little concerned about eating bagged spinich. I know its stupid, but I can't help thinking it might make me sick. I will get some parsley when I go shopping.

Sorry to bother, but is it possible to still learn this recipe? It seems she removed it on purpose... I have a load of oranges that I want to use on my juice fast. :p

Thanks JHB! I like how it doesn't require a juicer, either. ;) I have one of those 15-minute-to-clean ones currently. :(

Do you blend the whole lemon or just juice it in to the blender? Same with the oranges, do you peel and blend or squeeze and just use the juice? Thank.

I think I made this wrong. xD I blended the peeled fruit with the spinach rather than the juice, then strained. It was difficult to squeeze through the nutmilk bag, I think I drank a little of the pulp in the final result. I hope it won't mess up my fast... :o Tasted mighty good, though. :p I'll need to find a citrus juicer for when I make this next time.

I use a citrus juices/reamer for the citrus, then blend it up with the spinach, then strain :)
