Hey everyone..I am new to the raw food lifestyle..and I was wondering if anyone knew what foods specifically might or are known to help hypothyroidism?
This is actually so that I can tell my mom who has hypothyroidism..her doctors have given her no diet ideas only medicine..and I was hoping to help her even if she only wants to eat certain things and not go Raw...

Thanx to everyone..
Erica

There are a lot of people like myself dealing with their thyroid ! Type in Hypothyroid in the search engine and you will find some. There are people on here who have cured theirs ! Angela Stokes has also overcome hers and is helping others http://www.rawreform.com/

I myself use hot peppers and ginger everyday in juices and salads. I also use coconut oil = very good for thyroid, Alissa sells some on her site here. I am taking a supplement called Thyrosense - by Lorna Vanderheage its all natural and can be taken with meds if it has to be. Juice Juice !!!!:D
