I am sorry if this is off the subject, but my husband and I have no children yet, so our two dogs are our "kids"... I have a 2 yr old and a 4 month old puppy...I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the best diet to feed a dog is? I am currently feeding them Flint River dog food which is organic and inexpensive (I order online and it's delievered to our house). We also give them carrot and veggie juices as well as a Greens Plus tablet made for animals...if there's any suggestions, I'd love to hear them. Thanks so much:)

Google BARF Diet. Stands for Biologically Appropriate Raw Foods. That's what mine eat.

From the BARF website:

"Dr. Billinghurst’s BARF Diet meat origins are procured from USDA regulated and inspected facilities and from all animals that were live prior to slaughter."

I find this hilarious......as opposed to animals that were dead before they were killed?

Dog food manufacturers render meat from diseased animals (not fit for human consumption), including euthanized pets from local shelters. Hence, the latter clarification ~ Cathy
