okay, i know there are some good things about kombucha, and it tastes good and all but... alcohol doesnt agree with me and i def feel drowsy after drinking it, and that kind of answers the question for me, but do any of you know any specifics about the health benefits? also, do the pros outweigh the cons, or is it the other way around. i appreciate the help

It's supposed to be good for digestion. It increases good flora, I believe, and is high in B-Vitamins and beneficial enzymes. I think it is similar to rejuvelac.
I just tasted the two best kombuchas last week. One was a goji berry kombucha and the other was a fantastic root beer. Both did not have a strong vinegar aftertaste like some other brands; it was "High Country (http://www.hckombu.com/)," organic, brand.

I am currently drinking Synergy's mango kobucha right now (for the probiotics) - not bad. ~ Cathy
