is it odd that all i've wanted to eat for dinner for like 2.5 weeks is guacomole and organic corn chips (i'm not 100% raw yet- yikes!)? will i wake up one day and hate guacomole because of this.... i can't afford to, it's easy to make and fills me up.

I have been eating it a lot also. I never ate an avocado before going raw. I also eat it with chips that are not raw, but they are baked and made with veggies and organic ingredients. I also eat it with celery, but sometimes I really want the chips. I want to get a dehydrator to make cracker/chips. I probably should order some raw chips online until I can buy one. I really have to get to 100% raw.

I dunno what it is about avos... I thought I was eating too many and cut back (as in 0 for about 3 days). I thought the fat in them might slow down weight loss. I woke up this morning with a dull nagging headache that felt like it was headed into a migraine. I just kept getting this prompting to eat an avocado - so - I ate half an avocado and before I was half way done - the headache was gone! Okay!! ;) Glad I ate the avocado!! :D

i know how you feel about the chips, it's almost like it's not completely guacomole without them, i'm looking forward to getting a dehydrator too, i found some great corn chip recipes here!

an avocado a day keeps the doctor away.... i know they've got a high fat content, but isn't the fat in them supposed to be the good kind, or is that an oximoron, a good fat?

I love avocados, too!!!...When I first went 100% raw one of my favorite meals was a portabella mushroom sprayed with nanu shoya, a scoop of guacamole, sprouts, tomatoes and a sprinkling of macadamia nuts...It is sooooooo good...
...and an avocado with just a bit of sea salt on it is great, too!

I make my guacomole really hot by adding two hot red peppers and one hot green pepper. This makes it easy to get my water intake up. lol. By the third day it is just right! Also I started to eat more dip per chip. It save on the amount of chips I eat.
