Thought I had a seed caught under some dental work a couple of weeks ago, but when I started to go into congestive heart failure, I knew that it was something more. Turns out a rod split and caused an abscess - hence, I am on mega doses of antibiotics to prevent endocarditis and pneumonia.
Posting not to dispute the use of antibiotics (I already have cardio-pulmonary disease, so am not taking any chances), but rather to get some advice with regards to diet.
I am taking probiotics daily, but am still experiencing major bloating. Should I stick with greens and low glycemic fruits for now?
Any input would be appreciated ~ Cathy

I am on mega doses of antibiotics for Lyme disease and I am doing exactly what you said- probiotics, veggies, well, I'm not doing much fruit because I already have Candidia but it sounds like you are on the right track. You can take as much probiotics as you need to. I usually tripple or quadruple the dose.

I'm not sure what you mean by "a rod split", but I suggest eating marañón. Google "anacardic abscess" and look up "mantled howler monkey" in Wild Health for more info. To find them, ask a Hispanic grocery if they have them frozen. To eat one, twist the merey off (you may have to run it under water for a few seconds) and put the marañón in a smoothie. You can open the merey if you have a cashew knife (I don't).

I had root canal where they remove the roots and replace with rods.
I'll stop at Whole Foods today and see if they have the latter. Thanks for responding ~ Cathy

From what I understand, lots of greens, green smoothies being best for optimal absorption, assimilation, and volume, are excellent for a body overburdened with antibiotics.

I just had root canals on my 2 front teeth Wednesday. I had to take an antibiotic before they would work on me so I took megadoses of Alissa's green powder which has probiotics. I am not fasting to get rid of whatever else. You mean I DO have rods in my mouth? I could see them in the reflection on the ride of the overhead light and it looked like they were shoving something in there.
They said I would be extrememly sore because my canals were big, I didn't and haven't felt a thing.
I love raw food. I love fasting.
