I almost never have headaches. The only time I ever get them is when I accidentally eat something with MSG (2 months and 4 years ago!). Now I'm pretty much headachy on and off constantly.

Could it be something I'm eating or not eating enough of?

Headaches are a very normal part of detoxing from cooked foods. I never got them either until I went raw and they dissapeared after a week or two. Give it a little time and stay as raw as possible. Occasionally, when I have slipped and had something non-raw, I will get a headache too.

I have to remember that about detoxing. :o

I just walked to a raw food restaurant and ordered a smoothie that has raw almond butter (told them to hold the dates) and I'm starting to feel better. I think I need more fat and/or protein in my diet. I also have to remember to drink enough water.

I'm at work (so I couldn’t do anything at home) but at least I have a place to go for an emergency.

It was good! I do feel better now. I was going to run after work, but I think Ill do a Yoga class instead.

Headaches are definately a sign of detox. Especially in the first week if you are going off coffee or sodas.

Oh yeah, lovely detox. I had them when I first started, and just one week before I went raw, I had quit drinking caffeine. It'll go away! I find that the more water and fruit I eat, the less headaches I get or the quicker they go away.

Actually I haven't had a soda in about 5 or 6 years now. No foods with HFCS in 3 years, very little refined sugar, no processed foods, nitrates, fast food in 6 years, etc. I haven't had gluten in a year and a half. I had a pretty clean SAD. I haven't had coffee in close to two months either; when I did, I only had it maybe 1-2x per week.

I guess I should consider myself lucky! It could be worse if I was on a "typical" SAD.
