Hello
i dont know if you all know me, probably not, but im 14, and i have a blog up here, anyways, i was wondering how much percent raw is everyone.
The reason i am asking this question is becuase i want to see if everyone is 100 percent raw, or there are variations.
im feeling really discouraged, because im beggining to think that there might not be a place for me in the raw department. I kindof wish there was. And i kindof dont.
I dont know what i want yet, but ive got time to figure it out.

Anyways, can i here what some people do? Or is everyone here 100 raw?

Oh my dear - there are many variations of raw-ness here. I am 100% and will not every go back to SAD/CRAP, but that's me. I know there are other young people that frequent this forum. Don't ever think there's not a raw place for you. Raw is for E V E R Y O N E!!!
Go to what feels right for you. One day you may decide to go 100%. But hey, you had to crawl before you walked!

don't worry. As you read here you will find that not that many are 100%. Most are in transition or high raw. This is a support board. The happy successful 100%ers are busy living their lives for the most part and some come to visit once in a while although there are 100%ers here. Many people take years to transition to 100%. I punished myself at first also. I am still not 100% but am trying. If you can find a way to dehydrate some flax crackers and things like that it will probably help alot. Once you have a dehydrator (or can use the oven but not optimum) the flax crackers are really cheap to make. (Just soak, add some flavors and pour on trays) I think that now I have started making them it will much easier for me to be 100% or very near.

That depends what window of time we are looking at. For the last week and a half I am 95% raw. For the last month I am 85% raw, and for the year I am probably only about 30% raw. Of course, I only started raw on 3/19 this year however, and only started going 100% most days less than 2 weeks ago.

I consider myself 100% raw but a true raw foodist wouldn't. I still use nutritional yeast, miso, bragg's etc... certain condiments in moderation. In reality I'm not 100% but I feel the small percentage that I am using them won't hurt and I feel great. I don't actually eat any food that is cooked if that is what you mean by the %, just some condiments...

Raw is for everybody regardless of how much you eat of it... even if you just add green smoothies or a nice big salad to your lifestyle, it is more that most SAD eaters. Take it one day at a time and don't be so hard on yourself, there are no RAW police, do what feels right!

I have a hard time calculating percentages because I'm someone who digs in her heels at measuring, calculating, etc, when it comes to food. The only one I can be certain of is 100%

I have been going on and off 100% raw. I have a greater ratio of fully raw days than not. The rest of the time most of what goes in my mouth is fruit or greens.

My goal is to be fully raw for longer and longer periods of time, as the cooked stuff is really doing me no good, and kidding myself isn't helping.

When I only eat raw food, I feel like a million bucks, and happy.

I am not sure what percentage I am. I eat raw all doing the day. However, I will eat a vegan cooked meal at night with the family. Just because that is family time and the kids and I prepare our meals together. I think you should just do it to the best you can. Obviously at 14 your probably not in charge of your own menu. Do what makes you and your body feels comfortable:)
