Can flaxseed crackers get stale?

I don't know, ours never last longer than 2 days around here.

I would think, though, that it would take a long time for them to go stale.

I put mine in a plastic tub and keep them in the fridge for 2 weeks, thats how long my big batch lasts. I use the recipe from Rainbow Green live - Cousins book. The one thats got almonds in it BUT I add a cup of finely chopped green onions and a little garlic to mine YUM !!!!!

I REALLY hate to admit this, but just for a laugh, I will. I took some crackers on the plane and actually had some left over, mainly because I took SO many, and they really are very filling. I think they got dumped into the freezer or something. Anyway, a year later, I found them. Just for kicks we tried them and they seemed the very same. We pigged those down fast! So shall we say a year? :D

I make a dehydrator full at once and keep them in a tin ( in a cool dark place). The onion bread is always eaten first so some flax crackers are there for weeks and are fine - never had a mouldy one yet but they do soften so I sometimes have popped them back in the dehydrator to re-crisp.
