Hi everyone,

I'm just getting back into 100% raw and am gearing up to make a bunch of recipes to keep me on track!

I have a question about storage of leftovers. I eat mostly salads and smoothies each day, but I want to make several recipes, particularly of some of the dehydrated foods like breads, lasagna, etc., but am wondering how well these store in the refrigerator/freezer.

I am the only one raw in my household. I know that I could make smaller batches of these recipes, but for the work involved, I would like to make the full batch size so that I can have things on hand.

Do many of Alissa's recipes store well in the refrigerator? Can leftovers be frozen without compromizing the nutrition and enzymes?

Please let me know, as my schedule caring for my two children with autism does not give me a lot of time to prepare special recipes every day, and I would like to be able to devote a couple of days a week for dehydrating meals I can eat throughout the week.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Mary

Mary - I did a quick search and here you go:

This was posted by rawfoodiemom a good while back:

I know RP has mentioned in other threads that she successfully has all kinds of things in the freezer such as Alissa's pesto-stuffed mushrooms, rawviolis, enchiladas, meatloaf, etc.

I've heard many people successfully freezing burgers, cakes, pies, fudge, brownies, etc.

This is a start for you. I know I freeze RAWvolution's famous onion bread, maraw's pancakes, Alissa's bagels, Alissa's calzone, and fruits and nuts. I'll keep searching to see if I can find more info.
