She's interested and is doing well but she still eats some cooked.
Can anyone tell me about the benefits of being high raw?
I know there most be some.
Thanks
Beth

Two things:
1. Give her Alissa's book - tell her to read it.
2. Turn her on to this Raw Food Talk forum - tell her to read it.

Any increase in fresh foods is a positive thing. Good for her! :D

all i can discuss is what i experience, and the clear, peaceful mental state i experience raw is what i advocate for myself. i don't know if the shift is as dramatic for anyone else, i suppose it is, and it would be nice to hear about on here, but i'm in the dumps mentally if i'm not all raw, and life is smooth sailing, relatively speaking if i am. of course there's still the usual bumps and grinds that i receive from the world, but i have to accept that as life on life's terms. everything isn't going to be completely easy just because i'm raw. but everything goes much better for me raw, people relations, etc., and of course, i feel better physically if i'm not putting garbage in my body.:D :o :p
