Does anyone know where I can get the small square glass containers like Alissa has on her DVD? This would be the 16 ounce size that are about 2-3 inches tall and 4" x 4" square. I'm cleaning out my cupboard and thought these small containers would be good for spices - easy to see when something is running low and a lot more organized. But only if they are stackable.
I bought a bunch of these square glass food containers made by Anchor Hocking that are stackable and I just love them for nuts, seeds, etc. but the smallest size I could find is 32 ounce and 4" tall. I did find some of the smaller 16 ounce size on the internet made by Libbey. I emailed the company selling them to see if they are stackable and they replied that they are not but I'm not totally convinced that is correct. I don't want to spend the money and then find out they won't stack.

You'd be surprised, but crate and barrel and Ikea have a lot of great small, stackable glass containers.

I have not seen Alissa's DVD but she has some square glass containers that are in some background photos in her book. I bought some for my cabinet at The Container Store and took a picture for you. Do they look like these??? :)

I thought I would use stackable jars too, but have found that I buy in bulk (seeds, nuts, etc) and that my freezer/fridge is the best place for all of that.

I bought some air tight ones that are really nice looking at Bed bath and beyond. Also IKEA always has pretty much everything.
