Hi,
I'm very skinny and just started eating raw. I'm wondering if there are other people here who started this diet allready thin. And if so, what are the benefits for your health and appearence?
And are there any before and after pics of people who started thin?
Most of them here are very impressive, but I can't really relate to them or see de results of this diet besides losing weight, and the results of that.
Just need some inspiration, because I'm still asking myself the question if this diet is healthy or not.
Can anybody help me?

Hi, I am and was always skinny too. I haven't notice incredible results or anything from this diet, but I know it's healthier and I like raw foods better so I eat this way anyway. I think if you have health issues it can help heal you, but if you are healthy and skinny, you might not notice very much change. It may however prevent future weight/health issues

I have weighed 100 lbs for the past couple of years now (I am 5'5) and have heard every 'eating disorder/too skinny/eat something!' comment since I was very young. I have always been thin, even when eating cheesesteaks and fries on a daily basis. The only time I have gotten above 100 lbs was when I was on birth control, and even then I only got up to 105 lbs.
That being said, I've been mostly raw since the beginning of the year, around 4 months now. I weighed myself last week and am still 100 lbs, though I have noticed small changes in my body. For example, I feel that parts of me are bonier in a way, like my chest bones are more noticeable and my arms seem thinner, hip bones stick out a little more. I think I have lost fat while still retaining muscle, which is why the scale says I weigh exactly the same, fat weighs less than muscle. Oh, and I think my breasts have gotten smaller...the entire chest region seems much thinner to me. My ankle bones are more noticeable too I think. I am shedding fat but still retaining my basic shape.
It sounds like cause for alarm but I feel amazing, I dont forsee getting any thinner at this point. The only thing I have had to struggle with is explaining to people why I am raw when I am already so thin, the opinion that I have an eating disorder is hard for people to give up. It's not normal for people to be thin in our society, and I have had to face a lot of backlash from overweight/unhealthy people who want to justify their lifestyle by putting mine down. It gets to me sometimes! But it's not enough for me to give up raw :)

My average weight has been 118 for many years. I am at 110 now at 5'6". I've been eating High Raw for 2 years, gone several days 100%, then eat cooked. Longest I've gone is 2 weeks. I am currently on my 3rd day of 100%.
What I've noticed is the fat pockets that were on my thighs have improved. Yes, I had cellulite and it's almost gone. Stomache is flatter, breasts have reduced a little. I look leaner.
I have recently upped my fat intake because I want to gain 10lbs.
This is what I've been eating the last few days and I feel really good.
canteloupe or 2 apples
Smoothie with Kale or Collards, orange, banana, frozen pineapple
Nori Rolls with cauliflower, cucumber, squash, Purple cabbage, avocado
Collard Wraps with tomato, cucumber, squash, avocado, onion
1 Glass of fresh coconut water + flesh in either a smoothie or I make coconut macaroons
Giant Fruit Salad-apples, strawberry's, banana, orange
Date nut Torte for special treat.
