Does anyone have a recipe for raw hazelnut or raw brazil nut butter?

Rejuvenative Foods sells a jar of the best brazil nut butter. I bought it once for like $12 like 4 yrs ago. I ate the whole thing in one sitting with a spoon. Some things are worse than the cancer it prevents, like a butt the size of China. I never bought it again. It is lethally good!

I do!!

I like to make my nut butters fresh, to avoid buying things in jars whenever possible. (also the storebought nut butters, even those labeled raw, are often heated above 118 due to the large amounts they process)
Anyway, i love the taste of freshly made nut butter and you can tweak it with whatever flavors you want, which is great!

It's a slightly time-intensive process, but SO worth it, just have fifteen or twenty minutes you can spare. .

So in a coffee or spice grinder, add small batches of whatever raw nut you're using (brazil and hazelnut both taste amazing) and a generous pinch of celtic sea salt, and grind until creamy, scraping it out when the blades stop turning, turning it into a bowl and adding more nuts or the unchopped pieces left from the last batch, and keep repeating until you have the amount you want. THis is perfect as is, or you can add a bit of flax or hemp oil or water to thin a bit, sometimes i add some raw honey or agave,or stevia, cinnamon, nutmeg or carob for different flavors. It's absolute heaven, spreads well on anything, and keeps in the fridge in a sealed container for quite awhile, but it never seems to last more than a day or two in my house.

Good luck!:)

Can you make this in a food processor? I do not have a grinder yet.
