Improvement in hearing?

I was listening to the Peter Gabriel song 'In your eyes' the other day, and there were parts of it that had an obnoxiously high pitched tone. I had to turn the radio down. It was really weird, cause I like that song and have never heard it before. So I got to wondering if my raw food diet had improved my hearing. I just downloaded that ringtone that people over teen years can't hear. I can hear it.

I used to be able to hear up to 14 or 15 kHz. Right now the highest I can hear is 11111 Hz, unless that's as high as the speaker can speak.

Yeah a lot of people at my school have that ringtone on their phones because none of the teachers can hear it. It gets really annoying when it goes off in class

I can hear that ringtone too and I'm 47 with hearing loss. So I don't believe it.

Gah! I heard it, but it's so faint how can someone use that as a ringtone? It has an effect like fingernails on a chalkboard, I guess you just feel it more than hear it?
