Ok I've heard people say that if you eat the same vegetables/greens every day you can become allergic or other bad things.
So that scares me because I eat Romain lettuce EVERY day, sometimes multiple times a day. I also have different kinds of lettuces in my salads, but Romaine is always there.
Does anybody know like the amount of time until you have to swap one vegetable for another? This is very confusing. Is it like after 1 week of eating kale every day, That's it, time's up, you gotta switch to something else? Then how long until you eat kale again?
Anybody know?

You might wish to listen to the interview I did with Victoria Boutenko on this very subject. You'll find it in the "Raw Food Events".
I'm pretty sure nobody can answer your question about "exactly" as the quantity, quality of what's in each type of green and the person eating eating it all differs.

Hello RawChicky,
I am one to go with a single food, type of food, or even color for weeks or even months at a time. If I crave ramaine, spinach, or anything else then that's what I eat. In raw foods what a person craves is usually what they need. I have personally eaten romaine daily for months with no bad reaction. The interview Revvell refered to above was very informative. Victoria is a natural researcher; it seems like air to her.
When all is said though, your body knows what it needs even better than your mind does. Victoria has talked about that too in the past. You might enjoy reading the articles and past newsletters on her site. She gives the link in the interview with Revvell.
In my experience when my body has enough of a food it craves something else. Whatever it was I could not live without yesterday just isn't appealing now.
no worries,
teri

Eat whatever you want. If you start placing restrictions, you won't want to stick with raw and/or you won't enjoy it as much. I usually eat spinach daily and often romaine daily. I believe the main thing that's important is to be as close to 100% as possible & then to try to eat all organic.
