Do you ever meet people when you have a raw face? They know you with the raw face. And then...for whatever reason, you have eaten some cooked, so have a cooked face...so you don't want to catch up with them, because you don't want them to see or know you with a cooked face...but only raw...

Raw face = innocent, young, fresh, beautiful and full of light
Cooked face = old, puffy, stodgy, dull-eyed

YES definitely!
when I eat cooked I can't even go to work or university! My body reacts very sensitive so I feel horrible and swullesn that I cant even really move. AND MY COOKED FACE IS SO UGLY! I don't want anyone to see it!;)
Funny is: I only take photographs when I am raw... and once I showed some of my raw shots to one of my sister who know me almost only cooked or high detoxing (coz when I have a VERY BAD phase I am allways at home... If I am doing great I am somewhere else)
She said. Nice shots. But they does not look like you
I'd like to answer... NO its the other way round... THAT IS THE REAL ME!...

I am new to Raw, so, I still only have cooked face, but, that is definately one of the things that drew me to raw....the amazing radiance and clarity of the raw face! Can't wait to see my own. This is my 7th 100% raw day.
Thanks Alissa for your beautiful spirit and incredible recipes!

Yes! I even see a HUGE diference in my face between 98% raw and 100%. My mom is now starting to notice a difference because obviously before raw she didn't have a "cooked" face to compare it to. Others don't notice it though.

I'm that way too. I hate to have my picture taken anyway, but when I am not raw it just isn't going to happen!
A really cool thing happened the other day. I noticed my husband looking at me a little weird, so I asked him what he was doing. He said, "I'm trying to figure out why you look different." Um, ok, I'll bite. Why do I look different?
He then tells me that my wrinkles have diminished by about 75% since I have been raw this time (since April 1st). Wow!!! I was really starting to get those nasty little crows feet around the eyes (i'm 37) so this is really exciting. He thought maybe I was using a wrinkle cream or something. Nope, just raw! It works better than any cream! :)

I thought I was the only one who noticed that kind of stuff. :p I totally know what you mean. I took before pic of myself, and even in just 3 months, my face has changed so much. It was puffy before and blotchy.
Just for that reason alone, it would be hard to go back to cooked.

Queen Bean just described me!!
My cooked face looks angry all the time cuz it's so puffy :( (but I'm really not angry! Just puffy!!
But now my raw face is not so puffy - I'm still lookin for the 'glow' - I can't see it - but my husband says he can see it.
And the other weird thing - when I walk around in town or at the store - people are turning around and staring at me - maybe they're seeing the Raw Glow? (I hope!) :)
