I completed a 10 day Master Cleanse in March, and decided to continue with the raw food diet that is recommended at the end of the cleanse. I was up for the challenge of having to cook some meals for my husband but he agreed try raw with me for 30 days. We've been having a great time un-cooking in the kitchen trying all of the wonderful recipes in Alissa's book. Last night we had the superb rawvioli's. Even though they require quite bit of prep time they were worth it. We love the veggie flax crackers. We're not really missing anything from our former diet - except hot (temperature) food. We're using alot of jalapeno's in the our food to simulate the hot but it is not quite the same. Maybe it's something that we will not miss over time. I'd be interested in hearing if this has been difficult for others too.

Hi and welcome to the board Lorna!
:) I have heard about the master cleanse, but have not tried it. As for me I love spicy peppers at this time in my life. I think I will always enjoy them in varying amount, but some people find them too stimulating to the mind and body.
Welcome Lorna to RFT. Yeah I do miss the warm temperature of cooked food sometimes. You can warm things up a little in your dehydrator though. It wont' be hot but it takes the chill out of some of the raw soups, etc. Best wishes to you as you continue down your journey to health!
