Making Nori rolls for first time...

It says after rolling them to stick them together with water or nama shoyu. I tried this and it did not work? Does the "shinier" side go on the inside or the outside? I had it on the outside. Was that the problem? Any ideas?

Yeah, sometimes it sticks sometimes it don't. For looks, just tuck it around and eat up. I promise after you eat 2 or 3 bites you won't notice.

Shiney side goes on the outside. I have a bamboo matt to roll them and after I wet the edge I press them down then put them on a place sealed side down...that usually does the trick. Enjoy!
