I was just wondering, do any of you eat potatoes, beans or rice? If so HOW? I've been raw almost 2 weeks and I'm not sure how to still incorporate these things into my diet.
Is there anything wrong with brown rice? Previously I thought it was supposed to be very healthy, but I don't know how I could eat it any more. Is it not needed?
And what about potatoes, do they dehydrate well into chips? I am mostly concerned about sweet potatoes, because I know how incredibly good for you they are.
I know people sprout beans, but then what?

I feel like I need more of these things into my diet and trying to figure out if I can get them without cooking them.

I can't help with potatoes or rice (I would think you couldn't soak rice long enough to make it chewy...but I am a newbie :D )But you can eat chick peas raw! I just soaked chick peas for 24 hours and made some great hummus, and some fantastic 'cheese' chips using a raw cheese recipe and replacing the nuts with chick peas!

I suck at sprouting, so I can't help with that either. Oh, well...I wasn't much help at all! lol

I'm having similar feelings. I've been raw for eight weeks now. the first six were easy I was 100% most days but the last 2 have been really hard. I feel like I'd like to incorporate beans and rice as well, not potatoes. Sweet potatoes are great raw shredded.
