Hi All,
I am an Acupuncture Physician, Doctor of Oriental Medicine and Chinese Herbalist in the Clearwater area of Florida. Though I've always eaten healthy, I've always been attracted to Raw, and finally decided to give it a shot.
Though I don't have much time to put into Forums, I would welcome support and if anyone on the forum also lives in the Tampa Bay area, I would love to meet with you!
Thanks so much.

Hi and welcome.
I live in Ireland but travel to Tampa a couple of times a year. I am going out there tomorrow morning for 2 weeks.
There is a great raw Restaurant in Tampa called Grass Roots.
Shortcut to: http://www.thegrassrootlife.com/
I will probably be eating there with friends over the next 2 weeks and you are welcome to join us if you wish.
It is run by a lovely couple.

Sarasota here .... maybe I found a new doc!!
Welcome
Have you worked with people who fast and cleanse?
I coach people through cleansing and would love to find a supportive medical professional my clients could see.
I also would love to have the stuff released during a gallbladder cleanse analyzed.
Thinking about it I have a bunch of questions I would like to ask.
OK one more example. Last year after a 2 week MC I got a kidney stone ... yikes. Could this be because I am cleansing my blood?

Hi AcuDawn and welcome.
My first piece of advice is not to pass up the opportunity to have lunch with Sport! She is an inspiring person with a wealth of knowlege....go and have lunch with her, you'll have a wonderful time!

The couple that owns Grass Roots teaches raw classes. You should definately talk to them. I was in Tampa last year for business and went there for dinner. I wasn't raw at the time, just vegan, so I didn't have anything raw off the menu. But I spent some time talking to them and they told me about the classes, etc. They really are very nice. The husband drew me a map of downtown and told me all the places I should go to if I wanted to go out that night.
